Staying in a hotel
We would like to inform you about the rules that apply when you book and/or stay at the Livington Hotel in Vinsta.
Generally
Receptionens öppettider är The reception's opening hours are Monday-Saturday 8 AM to 9 PM, Sunday 8 AM to 8 PM. Please note, deviations may occur.
Order and confirmation
A reservation becomes binding as soon as it is confirmed. This can be done orally or in writing, such as via email. You and the hotel have thereby entered into an agreement. However, there is some possibility for cancellation – see the section "Cancellation and No-Show".
Arrival and departure
The hotel room is at your disposal from 15.00 on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, you must leave the room no later than 12.00.
Late arrival
Receptionen är bemannad enligt tiderna ovan, om ni kommer senare ta kontakt med oss i god tid så får du vidare instruktioner.
Cancellation and non-arrival
The following rules apply: Cancellation must take place no later than 18.00 the day before arrival. If you do not show up without cancellation or cancel later than 18.00, you must pay for one day. If the hotel incurred special costs due to your order, you will be liable for compensation for these.
Departure before the end of the agreed time
If you have ordered for a fixed period of time but depart before the end of this period, you must pay the same compensation as in case of late cancellation. In addition to the price for the time you stayed at the hotel, you therefore pay for an additional 24 hours.
Stay for an indefinite period
If you are staying at the hotel for an indefinite period of time and extend your stay by one day at a time, you should notify us of your departure no later than 16.00 the day before you travel. Otherwise, you have to pay for an extra day. If the hotel can no longer let you dispose of the room, you have the right to be told this no later than 16.00 the day before departure.
Children and extra beds
Children up to 10 years old stay free in their parent's bed. For inquiries about extra beds and cribs, please email info@livingtonhotel.se.
The hotel's obligations
If the hotel cannot provide you with a room as agreed, you have the right to receive an equivalent or better room within the hotel or at a hotel of equivalent standard at no additional cost.
Complaint
Complaints about the hotel room must be made to the reception as soon as possible, but no later than 12:00 on the day after arrival. Errors that occur during your stay must be reported immediately to the reception or if the hotel room provided is not in the promised condition. If Livington Hotel Vinsta cannot remedy this, you have the right to terminate the agreement.
Validity
The agreed prices are binding for both parties, however, the hotel reserves the right to adjust the prices as a result of changed costs in the event of increased taxes and fees, or other circumstances beyond the hotel's control.
Liability in the event of damage
The guest, or whoever stands as guarantor for the room, is responsible for damage to the premises as a result of negligence or unjustifiable behavior by the guest. We remind you that Livington Hotel Vinsta is non-smoking. In case of violation, the hotel will demand compensation for damaged property and/or extra cleaning of the room. This compensation is at least SEK 2,000 and will be charged to the final bill to the guest who is responsible for the room.
Force majeure
Events beyond the control of the contracting parties – for example strike, lockout, fire, etc. which make it impossible to fulfill the obligations in this agreement – give the right to cancel the agreement without liability for compensation.
